Smitha Kurpad Lakkavalli is a Bharatnatyam dancer from Karnataka trained under ‘Pandanallur style’. She started her initial training at the age of 5 under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Radha Ramaswamy who built her a strong foundation. Ashok and Guru Smt. Jyothi Srinivas, a disciple of Guru Narmada. 

She has completed junior and senior level certifications in Bharathanatyam and has performed in various dance festivals in India such as Nrityasanje, Thyagaraja dance festival, Sai Nrityotsava, Indian Institute of world culture and so on. She has also performed in various dance festivals in Canada. 

Besides dance, she is a Finance professional working in corporate banking industry. And with the blessing of her Guru, she is now training young minds in the field of Bharathanatyam.
